I found that Adaware has a new tool for removing the hard-to-remove CW2 malware/hijacker, or whatever it's called.
Go to Lavasoft and get the latest updates, then download and install the Plugin tool.
When you reboot and run your next scan, CW2 will be found and removed when you click the objects it found.
Good hunting.

Right now, it looks like MagicFingers might have confused it with the VX2 cleaner plug-in. Just checked all three Lavasoft sites and no sign of plug-in for anything named CW2 (or CWS for that matter).
