I'm currently using my old pentium machine because my XP machine is getting fixed. I downloaded hijackthis to scan this machine and I'm getting this error in my log that says it can't list the running processes. I just wanted to know what is causing this.

I'm trying to check this older machine if it is clean from spyware. I am having problems with hijackthis. Hijackthis is not showing the running processes and I can't figure out why. What does this error #53 mean and how do I fix it? Below is my HJT log.

Merged. Stick to one thread please. Did you email the error report to Merijn?
