When I start a broswer session, its address field points to "about blank". However, it displays a search engine page where I don't know what the actual address is. If I then type in an address, say "www.yahoo.com", the browser goes to that page but the "back" button is grayed out so that I can navigate back to the start up search engine page.

I use Ad-aware and remove serveral offending objects, but the next time I launch a browser session the symptotm appears again.

I also use CWShredder to remove the virus. It indicates it has removed the CW.Searchx virus. The next few times I start a browser session I see a blank page rather than the search engine page. However, after awhile the problem comes back, especially after I restart the computer.

I run HiJackThis to scan my pc and here's the log. I would appreciate someone take a look at it. Thanks.
