Sometimes when I type it is delayed.

When I view certain webpages somehow it makes it so no pictures, gifs, etc will not load. I have found no pattern and no consistancy of the pages that cause this.

My internet just seems to run poorly sometimes too. I have considered downloading Mozilla Firefox, but I am not sure if my system can handle it. My computer is around 7 years old, and still has a pentium II processor. Do you think that my system will be able to handle it without too much slowing down?

I have run CWShredder, Ad-aware, and Spybot S&D and they have not turned up anything.

Hi there,

Please do this first;

Update HijackThis to version 1.98
run HijackThis
select config> misc tools and select "update online". then yes.
Run a scan and post a new Hijackthis log after you are done.

Thank you for your reply. I was not aware I needed to update Hijack this!, and when I followed your instructions, it said the server was down ( www.spywareinfo.com ). I could not update it, but I have been trying to. I will post my new log when the server is back up.

I just got back from vacation (11days long) and i figured I would be able to update it by now. It gave me the same message. I tried following the link in the sticky to download Hijackthis, figureing i would download the newest version. The link was broken, and I can't remember where i downloaded it the first time. I guess I dont know what to do :wtf: . A link or further instructions would be greatly appreciated, as these things are really annoying.

Edit: Checked your sig :ph34r:

Hi there,

There are no suspicious lines on your log, The size of your processor will not help, also it depends on how much RAM your system has, how many programs you have running at any time. I hope this helps you.

Thank you. I still notice delayed typing, and somtimes when I double click on a desktop item, it pulls up the properties window instead of opening. I have to right click>open file. Most of my problems go away after I restart my computer, but that is annoying. Thanks again for your time.
