My fellow about:blank infected browsers...

none of the solutions posted on here work. they remove cws for like an hour and then after a few reboots, you're reinfected. try this...it fixed my winXP Pro

http://www.akadia.co...lank_virus.html

its for win2k but it works on winXP also.
good luck biotch!!!

after doing the above steps, make sure to scan your system with Norton Antivirus, and run Ad-aware.

i guarantee you this works..

Dude!
This solution was posted before!
While recovery console is not a bad option, we are fixing it in a similar way, without having to
use any special "forensic tools", and not everyone is able to install, use the CD, etc.
The same file can be found in other methods in the same registry key!

Nonetheless, don't intrude into resolved posts and offer your advice!
It is no longer needed!

I did not find any .dll files in my Windows/System32 directory, hidden or otherwise. I am using windows 98 with the latest updates. What am I missing?
