Due to the number of infections that you have, can you please run through the following procedures and after you have completed them, reboot and post another HijackThis log into this message for further review:
Download PeperFix
Save it to your Desktop.
Click on the PeperFix.exe to launch it.

Click the Find and Fix button.

It will scan the %Systemroot% folder and locate all the peper files. You will be prompted to reboot. Reboot and it will delete the peper files.
Ensure that you are online before starting the fix. Make sure to run the fix twice. Your version of Hijack this is outdated. Please download version 1.98.2 from either of the following links:
LINK 1
or
LINK 2

And post a new log

Print out these instructions so you can read them while you clean your system.

Move Hijack This to its own folder.Click My Computer, then C:\
In the menu bar, File->New->Folder.
That will create a folder named New Folder, which you can rename to "HJT" or "HijackThis". Now you have C:\HJT\ folder. Move hijack this there. Hijack this makes backups of everything you fix, these backups are saved in the same folder the program is.

Now close all open windows AND browsers and check these items for HJT to fix:

Please follow the given instructions.

Move Hijack This to its own folder.Click My Computer, then C:\
In the menu bar, File->New->Folder.

R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://default-homep...rt.cgi?new-hklm
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://server224.sma...earch/?new-hklm
O8 - Extra context menu item: Web Savings - file://C:\Program Files\WebSavingsfromEbates\System\Temp\ebateswebsavings_script0.htm
O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: MaxSpeed (HKLM)

Restart in safe mode.
Go to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel and uninstall:
WebSavingsfromEbates if present.
Delete the folder:
C:\Program Files\WebSavingsfromEbates

And post a new log.

This is an automatic updater for Wild Tangent, which is of dubious repute. If you wish to keep the program, fine, otherwise remove Wild Tangent in Add/Remove Programs and also delete its icon from the Control Panel.... and fix the following 04 line as well.....

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WildTangent CDA] RUNDLL32.exe "C:\Program Files\WildTangent\Apps\CDA\cdaEngine0400.dll",cdaEngineMain

Here are some tips, to reduce the potential for spyware infection in the future, I strongly recommend installing the following applications:
  • Spywareblaster <= SpywareBlaster will prevent spyware from being installed.
  • Spywareguard <= SpywareGuard offers realtime protection from spyware installation attempts.
  • How to use Ad-Aware to remove Spyware <= If you suspect that you have spyware installed on your computer, here are instructions on how to download, install and then use Ad-Aware.
  • How to use Spybot to remove Spyware <= If you suspect that you have spyware installed on your computer, here are instructions on how to download, install and then use Spybot. Similar to Ad-Aware, I strongly recommend both to catch most spyware.
To protect yourself further:
  • IE/Spyad <= IE/Spyad places over 4000 websites and domains in the IE Restricted list which will severely impair attempts to infect your system. It basically prevents any downloads (Cookies etc) from the sites listed, although you will still be able to connect to the sites.
  • MVPS Hosts file <= The MVPS Hosts file replaces your current HOSTS file with one containing well know ad sites etc. Basically, this prevents your coputer from connecting to those sites by redirecting them to 127.0.0.1 which is your local computer
  • Google Toolbar <= Get the free google toolbar to help stop pop up windows.
I also suggest that you delete any files from "temp", "tmp" folders. In Internet Explorer, click on "Tools" => "Internet Options" => "Delete Files" and select the box that says "Delete All Offline Content" and click on "OK" twice. Also, empty the recycle bin by right clicking on it and selecting "Empty Recycle Bin". These steps should be done on a regular basis.

And also see TonyKlein's good advice
So how did I get infected in the first place?

Good luck :D

mmxx66,
Heads up! .........

This new variant is similar to Delude.A, but it uses a file AOLFIX.EXE instead of Partyboy.exe and it changes the name server address from the registry, causing that the DNS requests are directed onto wrong host. The IP address of this host is 216.127.92.38.
