What problems are you experiencing? Just the unwanted e-mails mentioned in the topic?

(getting all kinds of e-mails - also e-mails that 'pose' as if they are from microsoft, which contain viruses. Also mails like 'update security patches' and mails indicating 'network problems'.

Well, then, what you need is a good spam filter.

Mail Washer Pro does a very very good job.
This is a very extensive list of spam filters, just find one that fits your needs.
