Hi, i have tried to remove this bug via norton antivirus 2003, spybot S&D, ad-aware 6, CW Shredder and analysing my hijackthis log as much as possible and fixing a number of items. However, the www.0websearch.com homepage keeps coming up and i am constantly redirected to www.new.xxxdirtylist.com. If someone could have a look at my log and tell me what to delete/fix i would really really appreciate it. thanks so much!

Hello, I fixed my 0websearch.com Hijack by going to DOS mode (win 98 :D ) and removed the services.exe located at windows/inetdata. Thus far 0websearch has not popped up in tha last 15 minutes (use to come up every 15 seconds).

Good Luck!!! and my thanks to merjin and hijack this.

Ah great thanks! I'm using Windows XP though, so how should i delete that file? I've tried getting HijackThis! to do it but the file just seems to reappear.
