some wierd small popup with a few websites like Yahoo, Mapquest, etc showing up on it.

Shows up every 30 seconds or so. WHAT THE HECK IS IT AND HOW DO I KILL IT?

just updated and ran VirusScan and AdAware.

*****************************************

it doesn't change my homepage though to about:blank

I checked for info on about:blank

it is just a tiny menu that pops up, IE doesn't even have to be running

why doesn't McAfee or Adaware find this POS?

my messenger service has ALWAYS been stopped!

it's not a pop up WEBPAGE it's a pop up menu, like if you right click the mouse. It just has a list of some of my websites like Yahoo and Mapquest and a few blank lines.

*******************************************

I ran shredder, hijackthis, aboutbuster, etc.........NONE found anything
