Hello. This is my first post. Please have mercy.

I read the FAQ thouroughly before registering. Now I can't access Mike's article at http://www.spywarein...jacked/#removal.

When I click on the link, I get this at the Address bar:

res://C:\DOCUME~1\RVALDE~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\Camp.res/error.htm#http://www.spywareinfo.com/articles/hijacked/

It displays "The page cannot be displayed" followed by an unidentified "Search the web" engine. If I hit reload, it opens a new browser window to:

http://www.ntsearch.com

I swear I tried to read Mike's article before "doing anything else", but I can't load the page.

Please, somebody help me. Please.

Thanks,

R.V.

Hello, sorry for the delay

Let's have a look at a HijackThis Log.

If you don't already have HijackThis, Download HijackThis from http://www.downloads.../hijackthis.zip and create a log. Run the program, and press Scan. You will notice the Scan button will turn into a "Save Log" button. Save the log and Post that log onto this topic. DO NOT Delete or modify anything yet, as some of it is needed to keep your system in Good Shape.

No one can, at the moment. Don't know what Mike is up to...
http:www1.spywareinfo.com used to get you the main page, but most of the links there won't work, and it seems to be no longer available..
