I don't know why, but today my computer became very slow. Whenever I open a mp3, image, video or text file, there's a ridiculous 15 to 20 seconds delay.

All my programs and games work properly.

I tried rebooting, I scanned with AVG, Spybot and Ad-Aware, nothing changed.

I have a Athlon 1.36 ghz, 512 mo ram, Windows XP and a 60 gig hardrive (35% is used).

What could be wrong?

Hello. Seeing as you have run Adaware, spybot, etc. Possibly try posting an HJT log, for us to have a look at, and we will see if anything turns up in there.

The link to HijackThis is in my siggy below, as well as a small tutorial on how to use it. *Do not Fix anything in HJT until some one here instructs you to do so, just save the log, and post it here.* :)

Any other questions on it, feel free to post them here. Hopefully we can get you fixed up.
