Basically my computer has a lot of spyware and it causes some regular programs to run slowly or to freeze. Despite a popup blocker I have tons of popups and often I have popups on my desktop without even browsing the internet. Recently about 30 new windows popped up at the same time but using task manager I managed to close them all. I have a hijackthis file and my friend told me you guys could help me clear my computer just like you cleared his. Thanks in advance.

Hijackthis log:

Hi there!

First thing to do is download the latest version of HijackThis (1.98) at http://www.spywarein.../HijackThis.exe

Next, Download Ad-aware from: http://www.lavasoft.de/res/aaw6.exe

Install the program and launch it.

First, in the main window, look in the bottom right corner and click on Check for updates now and download the latest reference files.

Next, we need to configure Ad-aware for a full scan.

Posted Image Click on the Gear icon (second from the left) to access the preferences/settings window

1. In the General window make sure the following are selected:
  • Automatically save log-file
  • Automatically quarantine objects prior to removal
  • Safe Mode (always request confirmation)
2. Click on the Scanning button on the left and select :
  • Scan Within Archives
  • Scan Active Processes
  • Scan Registry
  • Deep Scan Registry
  • Scan my IE favorites for banned URL’s
  • Scan my Hosts file
  • Under Click here to select drives + folders, choose:
  • All of your hard drives
Posted Image Click on the Advanced button on the left and select:
  • Include additional process information
  • Include additional file information
  • Include environment information
  • Include additional object details
Posted Image Click the Tweak button and select:
  • Under the Scanning Engine:
    • Unload recognized processes during scanning
    • Include basic Ad-aware settings in logfile
    • Include additional Ad-aware settings in logfile
  • Under the Cleaning Engine:
    • Let Windows remove files in use at next reboot
Posted Image Click on Proceed to save the settings.

Posted Image Click Start and on the next screen choose Activate in-depth Scan at the bottom of the page and then choose:
  • Use Custom Scanning Options
Posted Image Click Next and Ad-aware will scan your hard drive(s) with the options you have selected.

Posted Image Save the log file when it asks and then click Finish

Posted Image When finished, mark everything for removal and get rid of it. (Right-click the window and choose Select All from the drop down menu and click Next).

Posted Image Reboot your computer.

Next, download Spybot S&D. Go to this page, which has instructions and a download link.

After doing this, post a new log.

Change settings to show hidden files and folders:
Show Hidden Files and Folders

After doing that, find the following files (you may need to use search to find the 2'nd one):

C:\WINDOWS\System32\netrspd.dll
C:\PROGRA~1\CAKESE~1\camp audio.dll
C:\WINDOWS\System32\adsnt162r.exe

For each one, right-click on the filename and choose Properties from the pop-up menu. Click on the Version tab. For each item in the Item name column, write down both the item name and value. Reoprt back with this information. These are suspicious files, but I need more info to determine if they need to be removed. Also make copies of these files and put the copies somewhere safe (My Documents is a good place). You may be asked to submit them.

Download and run LSP Fix
Check 'I know what I'm doing'.
Select all instances of 'lspak.dll'.
Click the right-pointing arrow.
Click 'Finished'.
Restart your computer.

You have the peper trojan. Download the uninstaller. When running it be sure to let it have internet access through any software firewalls you may have.

Download Peper Uninstaller from here and save it - http://members.shaw....ts/PeperFix.exe
Double click on PeperFix.exe, let it run and terminate. (You must be online for the uninstall to be successful).

Run it again for good measure.

Go back into HijackThis and, with all browser windows closed, remove the following:
