Poor Kaiser-Permanente (my HMO, as it happens). An excellent non-profit provider. People will attack anything.

Kaiser Permanente is neither poor nor non-profit. Kaiser made a net profit of $832 million the first half of 2004:
July 30, 2004 - Sacramento Business Journal - Kaiser posts healthy income report
July 31, 2004 - Oakland Tribune - Kaiser: Profit up, members are flat. Kaiser Permanente's profits increased 37 percent in the first half of this year
Not for profit is a legal designation that allows Kaiser to escape paying income taxes, and by no means does it mean no one is profiting. You can read all about it in the California Nurses Association's report:
Corporate Healthcare. For Profit, Not for Profit, or Not for Patients: Kaiser Permanente.
And at Kaiser Permanente Thrive Exposed:
Kaiser Permanente Thrive

It means the income all goes to salaries and facilities and reserves.
This is really not a relevant topic for an antispyware forum such as ours.

Net profit means AFTER expenses. That is $832 million profit AFTER salaries and expenses. Reserves is another word for profit.
I apologize for posting but I thought this was the open forum where anything goes. Still I don't think you intended to mislead anyone about the meaning of net profit.

At the risk of getting flamed over my parody motives, I thought someone with security interests might be interested in my latest item.
I added a hidden encrypted msg to one of the Shark images. I hope it's not too easy to solve.
