My browser got hijacked yesterday, and I have been working through the FAQ. The automatic fixes have not worked. I have tried Ad-aware 6 and SpyBot. I did make sure to check for updates and dthe latest definitions before I tried them. Both found the problem, but did not fix it, as the situation reasserted itself after reboot.

I was going through the HijackThis log and found a BDO that was not on the CLSID list (http://sysinfo.org/b...t=50&offset=300). I am posting it here for further instructions.

Another item that doesn't come up in the lists. I am checking the start up items (04's) and the following line does not come up in pacman's list().

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [romahere] C:\WINDOWS\System32\matrixhere.exe

The rest of the hijack this log is in the post directly above.

A quick google search has associated this bad-boy with the super-spider malady I am running into.
