Hi, was just wondering if anyone could review this for me and let me know if there's anything wrong with it.. I also wonder if there's anything on here that may be making some of my internet programs "Freeze up" all the time.. I keep having to close Internet Explorer because the "program isn't responding". Thank you in advance.

Have Hijack This fix all of the following by placing a check in the appropriate boxes and hitting fix checked. Make sure all browser and all Windows Explorer windows are closed before fixing.

folders
C:\Program Files\Common files\updmgr
C:\Program Files\AnteBat
C:\Program Files\AMOKIT~1
C:\Program Files\MyWay

These may be hidden files. See HERE for how to show hidden files.

I would also suggest removing Kazaa from your system, and installing a spyware free alternative. While Kazaa lite has been cracked to remove the spyware, it still uses the vermin infested Kazaa network, and as a cracked program, it is an illegal crack.

When uninstalling, also uninstall P2P networking.

Please post a followup Hijack this log, and say if your problems persist.

First of all I'd just like to say thank you for your help. I really appreciate it. So, I ran Hijackthis, and "fixed" the ones you told me to. However, when I did this, it made backups, of the files that were modified and put them on my desktop. Should/can I delete these or should I save them in a seperate file?!

I already went into "regedit" under the start menu and got rid of
O3 - Toolbar: RectBikeBuild - {944B3422-23BE-6177-A5BF-EA707C6F81FE} - C:\PROGRA~1\AMOKIT~1\exit frag.dll
So I didn't have this in my new log when I scanned it again. However, this toolbar does come back frequently and I always have to go into "regedit" and remove it. If this comes up again, should I go into hijackthis and delete it from there?!? Also, since I went into regedit, I was unable to find and delete the folder:
C:\Program Files\AMOKIT~1

Also, I was wondering since you recommended that I uninstall Kaaza and install a spyware free alternative, if you could suggest one to me!! A webpage would be great so I can get some Info.

If you could help me out some more and let me know what else to do, I'd greatly appreciate it! I haven't had any problems so far!! Oh, almost forgot, here's the new log!!

I fogot to ask you to put Hijack this into its own folder, so that the backups would be kept together. Sorry. If you make a new folder in Program files, and call it Hijack this, or whatever you like, you can then move the program, and the backup files into it. The backups should not be needed, unless something removed was actually required. Keep them until you are certain that everything works OK, and then delete them.

The only alternative to Kazaa that comes to mind at the moment is WinMX. A google search should find it.

Your latest log is clean. Happy surfing!

Hey, Dave. Everything is working great! I uninstalled Kazza and installed WinMX and it's actually not too bad. I have yet to find a single file that is broken or has loops in it--unlike Kazaa!! Thanks for the recommendation. There is only one problem now. I'm not sure if it's a result of "fixing" something from Hijackthis or not. When I'm viewing pages on IE, some pictures or pages don't load. An example of this would be on the forum here.. Most of the clickable smilies are just shown with a red "x".. (java script??). I guess it wouldn't have anything to do with Hijackthis, hence you said that my last log looked alright. But, if you could help me out on this one, that would be awesome! Thanks for all the help!! My computer has never ran better!!

Just in case.. here's my new log w/ WINMX...
