Hello there, brianm8000!

Do you have HijackThis? If not could you please download it from this location and run it from a permanant location (such as c:/hijackthis)?

Now do the following:
-Press the "scan" button
-Press the "save log" button (right where it used to say scan)
-Copy the contents of your log (using ctrl+c)
-And paste your log into a reply in this thread.

I would think it is just a matter of an orphaned start-up item, but you never know.

Thanks.

Hi again.

Could you please move hijackthis to a permanant directory before we go any further (perhaps put it into C:/Hijackthis/ ?). This will ensure that everything is removed and that backups are successfully created. Please just post saying you have done this before we go any further.

Thanks.

If you have a folder named "HijackThis.zip" right click on it and choose the "extract all" option then follow the directions and you should be left with a folder called "hijack this" with the program inside it.

If you haven't the "extract all" option. please visit http://www.winzip.com and download the trial version, install it, and use the above directions, substituting "unzip with winzip" (or something similar) for "extract all".

Thanks.

Yes, thank you, that is perfect. Now, to fix your computer:

Open Hijack This and scan again. Then place a checkmark next to the following entries:
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {9C691A33-7DDA-4C2F-BE4C-C176083F35CF} - C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\bridge.dll (file missing)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RunDLL] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\bridge.dll",LoadO16 - DPF: {1D4DB7D2-6EC9-47A3-BD87-1E41684E07BB} - http://ak.imgfarm.co...etup1.0.0.6.cab
O16 - DPF: {37A273C2-5129-11D5-BF37-00A0CCE8754B} (TTestGenXInstallObject) - file://D:\wizmodules\testgen\installers\TestGenXInstall.cab
O16 - DPF: {908F3C82-B57E-11D4-BF33-00A0CCE8754B} (TInterActXInstallObject) - file://D:\wizmodules\interact\installers\InterActXInstall.cab
O16 - DPF: {9C691A33-7DDA-4C2F-BE4C-C176083F35CF} (brdg Class) - http://www2.flingsto...inue/bridge.cab

Next close ALL windows except for Hijack This and press the "fix checked button".

Now reboot your computer and post a fresh Hijack This logfile, and state whether or not the problems persisted.

Thanks, we're almost done.

Well it looks to me like you are all set. And if you aren't experiencing any more symptoms, odds are you are all set.

If you have any questions or any more trouble don't hesitate to come back.
