I have not been able to repair this trying various adware/spyware products. Whenever my browser should take me to a 404 error page (or other error pages) I am instead taken to searchsprint.com where I am prompted to download more evil Roings software.... this is driving me crazy!!!!

My HijackThis log is as follows. Thanks for any help that can be offered....

Move Hijackthis off your desktop (extract from zip)into a permanent folder. Example:
c:\program files\hijackthis\hijackthis.exe

This will allow backups to be made and saved By hijackthis in case something goes wrong.

Place a check next to the following entries, then close all open windows except hijackthis and click fix.

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {691735D3-D25A-41F8-A779-B072B42E7F3F} - C:\WINDOWS\xcmawuap.dll

Download the latest version of Ad-Aware at http://www.lavasoftu...pport/download/
After installing AAW, and before running the program, FIRST update the reference file following these instructions.
http://www.lavahelp....dref/index.html
Now do the following:
- Under Ad-aware 6 > Settings (Gear at the top) > Tweaks > Scanning Engine:
check: "Unload recognized processes during scanning."
- Under Ad-aware 6 > Settings (Gear at the top) > Tweaks > Cleaning Engine:
Check: "Let Windows remove files in use after reboot."
Press "Scan Now"
- Check option "Use Custom scanning options"
- Check option "Activate In-Depth Scan"
- Press "Select drives\folders to scan"
- Select the active partition which is usually C:
Now press "Next" to let Ad-aware scan your drives...
It will find a number of "bad" files and registry keys.
Right-click in that pane and choose "select all"
Now press "Next" again.
It will ask you whether you'd like to remove all checked items. Click OK.
Finally, close Ad-Aware, and reboot.

Then run another hijackthis scan and post your new log here.
