Is it safe to write a credit card number to make a purchase online or go to sites that require personal passwords to login while my computer is infected?
I think I may have about:blank.
I don't have time to uninstall it right now, but I need to use a credit card.

While the Coolweb variants do not appear to steal personal data, they can be accompanied by other, better hidden programs that can, and do. I would strongly suggest that you do not use a credit card, until your computer has been disinfected, and is known to be clean.
If you have previously used the computer for on line purchases/banking, scrutinize any statements very very carefully for signs of fraudulent transactions. Under these circumstances, changing all your credit cards, bank details and passwords is not really overkill. It's just that you cannot be too careful.
Be wary of strong drink. It may make you shoot at tax collectors, and miss!
