Two days ago I began getting the following error message .

"Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

This only occurs when I open some webpages and not always on the opening page. Often the error comes when I try to open a second page on a website.

I have checked my system with Adware, Spybot & Hijackthis. They show no problems but I can't make much sense of the Log File. Is there somewhere I can post a logfile to have it checked?

Does anybody know what could be causing this error?

I have also tried uninstalling IE6 and using my old IE5 browser but I still get the same error.

Just a guess but a popup killer may do it. Turn that off and see what it does.
