On two occasions, upon starting CWShredder has indicated CWS.smartsearch.2 has attempted to stop CWShredder from running, but that CWShredder has started using a random string of characters as its "name". (I know it actually says something else, but I can't remember exactly how it is worded) The first time it did this, I had it go ahead and try to remove CWS.smartsearch.2. It found it and removed it. I had my HJT log checked, and there was no indication of a problem. The second time it did this, I just restarted CWShredder, and it started with no problem and did not find CWS.smartsearch.2. Is CWShredder having a conflict with another program on my computer? I don't think I have CWS.smartsearch.2, but now have a nagging doubt that something might be wrong. Any thoughts?
Oh yeah, I am running Ad-Aware 6, Spybot S&D, Spywareblaster, IE-Spyads and NAV 2004. If that makes a difference.
