virus or spyware?

i think my computer was infected with a virus... but i suspect spyware also. I ran a virusscan and it wouldnt remove the hackware (magic login), so i tried to remove it manually. i think i succeeded, but i dont know which problems are virus related and which are spyware. Some of the symptoms are popup windows that say "action cancelled" (about 50 of them one after another), emails being sent to people i dont know from my address, and i also had the sidesearch problem but i think that is resolved now. My computer is noticeably slower and always seems like its working. it also locks up from time to time.

i read the faq and updated and ran my norton antivirus, adaware, and hijack this programs. i fixed the things recommended, except for anything that i was unsure of. here is the log from my hijack this:

Have Hijack This fix all of the following by placing a check in the appropriate boxes and hitting fix checked. Make sure all browser and all Windows Explorer windows are closed before fixing.
