The Boot Camp is a hidden forum where you can learn the ropes and advance to Helper. Experts and others will be there to guide you and answer your questions. A lot of good info there.
Just reply to this thread if you would like to be a Helper Trainee.
An Admin should turn up to admit you within a few hours. Watch for the "Group: Helper Trainee" to show up on the left there, under your name and avatar. (You may need to refresh the page).
Then you will be able to see the Boot Camp and go to Welcome! (Please read)

Posting in this topic suggests that you are asking to be a Trainee... Is that what you want?? If not, please say so since you have already been listed in that group...
As for your question... If you post urging the person to update their version of HJT, it increases the chances that that person will not receive help since the trained helpers usually look for people who have only their original post in the topic in order to find the ones that need help... If you post a response, they may miss that topic completely... We also do not want people who are not trained posting to logs...

I work at a Computer repair store in Iowa and we CONSTANTLY get machines in that are completely infested. My knowledge of malware removal is somewhat limited, but I would like to learn more and perhaps become an asset to SWI.
