The Boot Camp is a hidden forum where you can learn the ropes and advance to Helper. Experts and others will be there to guide you and answer your questions. A lot of good info there.

Just reply to this thread if you would like to be a Helper Trainee.

An Admin should turn up to admit you within a few hours. Watch for the "Group: Helper Trainee" to show up on the left there, under your name and avatar. (You may need to refresh the page).

Then you will be able to see the Boot Camp and go to Welcome to Boot Camp!

One of the Boot Camp Admins (Budfred or Indrid_Cold) will send you a PM outlining the steps to follow in your training.

Dear Admin,

For the passed 2 days, I was on GeeksToGo forum. I was trying to be nice and helpful.
But, the admin and the staffs had put me down. They also banned me without giving me an explanation! I also registered myself for GeeksU. However, I haven’t got a reply from them.

All I asks from them is to teach me and guide me to use / control Combofix. But, what they didn’t know, I was prepared to give them 65 pounds a month as a donation, just to keep their forum running! But, they banned me. So, I was forced to write this notice and let you all know.

The GeeksToGo staff are so selfish and I would only like to help the others. But, they banned me!

When I was banned, I was speechless for hours and hours! I seriously need to learn all of combofix’s commands. So please… anybody out there… please teach me…

I am on the end of my last hope to write more articles.

Please… give me a chance to learn and let me prove myself!

Hello my name is Donovan and I would love to be part of the Organization of Malware Killers. I have been at this for about 3 years learning what I could on my own and am a member of bleeping computer. I have a post there as of now. I just bought a compaq desktop "used" and it was full of malware and I am still working on it myself as they have not got to me yet. The post that is there with the scan logs are now obsolete as I have removed a few more Items. Now I do not know but I would imagine that you would expect a clean computer so when it is clean I would love to become part of this group.
Sign me up..!
Thank You: doingdirt :keybrd:

Hey Hey SpywareInfo

I would like to direct my energies toward (learning to) help others rid their computer of malicious software, and I would be most grateful if you would teach me how!

I can offer dedication in return, and cakes as a bribe if you live somewheres close to me :)
We can only see a short distance ahead, but we can see plenty there that needs to be done.

Just so there is no misunderstanding - we do not award certificates or degrees. However if you have finished the training here you will know how to remove malware effectively and safely, and will be allowed to help unsupervised here and at many of the other malware forums. You will be able to claim that you trained and people will be able to see that you have graduated to Helper.

Hi:

I was told about this forum by a friend, and I would be very appreciative if you would allow me into the boot camp. I would like to improve my computer skills overall, and I believe that a solid foundation in malware removal would greatly augment my current skills.

Thank you!

Hello,

I definitely would like to apply. After having been a tech for countless years, I have finally gotten the itch to provide some charity help to others who need it via these forums. I feel like I owe it to the community after having been aided so many times myself in the past thanks to their specialized tools and expertise.

I've been using many of the tools unofficially for years on my own, but I now am interested in officially being trained in their use to become even more effective at helping those in need. I'm excited to begin the training. :)

Thanks so much in advance, and God Bless all of you for your hard work,

Steve

hello admins,

if it's okay i would like to say a couple of words on why i would like to join the boot camp.

i am an entry level bench tech at a computer networking company and my job consists of removing viruses everyday and setting up new pc's for clients. i was taught to use a procedure when removing viruses/malware etc, and i regret to say that it doesn't work. it simply consists of scan with MBAM, SAS and if it doesn't work go to safe mode. if that doesnt work then go to comobofix and then after that usually re-format and load windows. sometimes i am unable to even boot into windows! i look very bad when i can't fix it and i google everyday onhow to gain knowledge and get rid of extreme viruses. i came upon spywareinfoforum.com when i googled " spyware info". then i searched for malware training and now i am here. i would also like to help others as i know exactly what it feels like to be powerless against these threats. i would like to have a professional method to approach my daily activities like scanning with logs, determining the method to use and application, and then act. not just simply scanning away and hoping it goes away.

please add me to your list. i will do my best and study whenever i have a chance. (i usually end up googling the viruses i get).i am not always able to reply as quick but i definately will.

looking forward to hear from you guys if i am accepted. thanks again for making a site like this where others like us can learn.

regards.
