I've read the FAQ but need help interpreting my HijackThis logfile to know what to kill and what to keep. Four days ago my browser began opening with a porn directory as the start page; even if I reset the homepage it would be reset every time I open IE; the IE address is opening as "C:\spad\start.html". Yesterday a shortcut appeared on my desktop that opens target: "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE" http://www.casinopal...sourceid=101969

Thanks in advance for helping me get rid of these. Here's the HijackTHis logfile:

david1234 includes this info in email: I am reopening this because the solution seems to have left something on my machine. What I have done to this point: 1. Followed shadowwar\'s posted instructions for removing the spad browser hijacker (I used his reply to someone who appeared to have the same problem as me; it was not a direct reply to my post); this appeared to solve the problem. 2. Applied all of the recommendations in the \"...prevent browser hijacker\" paper, except for replacing IE. 3. Ran McAfee antivirus and SpyBot S&D to ensure nothing they could find was on my machine.

Problem: Once a day IE automatically starts itself up with the myexexex.com page. My homepage default is not being reset or my browser hijacked, so most of the problem does seem to be fixed. If I close the myexexex.com web page and restart IE it opens to my default page fine. I don\'t know if time is helpful to you, but this morning this happened at 9:35AM PDT.

Thanks for your help.
