When i boot up my computer it boots very slow. This has only happened recently. When i finally get everything loaded, i can't really anything because it takes literally 10 minutes to load a program. (Norton took ~15 minutes) i looked at the process running and discovered that a process named System was running with very high (mostly ~99) CPU usage. i can't shut it down and i can't run any programs to see if i have malware.

Im running Windows 2000 pro with updated SPs. I dont believe its my mem cards because i have a 128 a 256 and a 54 i believe.

Please click the link in my signature marked "HijackThis." Make a new folder for it on the Desktop, save it there, and run it. Click "Scan," then "Save Log," and copy and paste the _entire_ log into a reply to this thread.
Signature file is under revision. This will be back shortly.
