Spyblaster software installed successfully weeks ago. Suddenly getting the following notice when attempting download: MSCOMCTL.OCX or a dependency not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid.
Have followed Spyblaster website instructions to correct this, but nothing is happening. Any suggestions?

MSCOMCTL.OCX is an ActiveX component used by lots of programs, if your getting an error its either missing or corrupted. First search on your computer for the componet using search, if you cannot find it, download it here, and follow these instructions-

1. For Windows 95/98/ME copy the file "MSCOMCTL.OCX" into your \Windows\System folder. For Windows NT/2000/XP copy the file "MSCOMCTL.OCX" into your \Windows\System32 folder.
2. click on START button in the Task bar
3. click on Run
4. Type in the Textbox: Regsvr32.exe MSCOMCTL.OCX
5. Click OK
