Hey guys, I ran LukeFileWalker on my system last night and it came back with the TR\BELORU virus. AVG 7.0 didn't pick it up. Below is a copy of my Log File that I ran in HiJackThis. If you notice anything please let me know. As always any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated. Thank You ~ Vic

Please Start hijack this again and tick the boxes next to the following objects.

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://red.clientapp.../search/ie.html
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://red.clientapp.../search/ie.html
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = http://red.clientapp...//www.yahoo.com

Close all windows and hit fix checked.

Nothing really stands out in your log that would be a sign of a trojan. Could you be more specifiic about the symptoms ( i.e. browser slowdowns ). Another thing are you using Pest Patrol?

Nothing abnormally really with system performance. Everything is nominal. Just that when I ran LukeFileWalker on my system it came back with TR\Beloru Trojan which I haven't been able to remove. Not much info on this Trojan. In my research to try and remove this Trojan I was directed to download HiJackThis, save the log and copy the log on the website for a professional to inspect. This is what I've done and where I'm at now. I've deleted those strings you've mentioned in HighJackThis, and I've disabled System Restore on My XP box. Guess I should try running the AV Scan again in LukeFileWalker to see if it picks it up again. Or I can try booting in an MS DOS prompt and run an AV line command scan to see if that picks it up again....who knows. Any further suggestions are greatly welcome. Regards ~ Vic

Good idea would be to run an online Virus Scan. Please do that as it is always up to date.
