My computer has been acting slower than usual, so I decided to do a scan. I found this url "http://www.power-sca...om/remove.html" and I decided to go to that site. I'm not sure what the process is but the site's tool is suppose to get rid of traces of porn. I also noticed a "CodeBabyObject Object" which is related to Bioware's Jade game which isn't even out yet. There is also an "EA"(Electronic Art" object at the bottom. I'm not even on the site of fileplanet.com or EA or Bioware so have no idea why it shows it.

A thing to note, my homepage is just a homepage that I created for myself.

I hope this helps, thanks guys.

I also noticed that I haven't been able to access some sites but when I try typing the url again and connecting to it - it connects. I have a feeling that the problem might be related to some of the things in my HJT log.

Hi,
Your log looks clean ...

As for the "016" items you can remove any of those you want.
They are not required ...

Hi,
The "016" items are located in your "Downloaded Program Files" folder.
These are basically ActiveX controls used to install various programs.

[Example]
O16 - DPF: {9F1C11AA-197B-4942-BA54-47A8489BB47F} (Update Class) - http://v4.windowsupd...7863.6067361111

The above is for Windows Update, so it can scan your system for updates. If you remove the above, the next time you visit WU you will be prompted (pop-up) to install the above.

Now of course these culprits don't always play by the rules ... they just insert themselves there or disguise themselves as something else.
