Recently, I have not been able to view pictures on webpages. It just gives the little box like it is loading (for instince, I cannot see the smilie bar to the left). Before, I just restart my computer, and it would be fixed. I tried that three times today, and each time a window popped up with the message of a program is running, 'wait 20 seconds', 'end task', 'cancel' . I hit end task, and the white page with 'Restore my active desktop' pops up, then my comp shuts down. When I restart, the white page is still there. Please let me know what is going on. Here is my log from HijackThis:

Hi,
Close all open windows, except for HijackThis place a check in each
of the following, then click "Fix checked".

O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {02BB5D60-70A4-11D7-8577-006008BD91B3} - (no file)
O13 - WWW. Prefix: http://

Then reboot ... otherwise your log is clean ...

It just gives the little box like it is loading

Resize your browser cache, then rebuild the cache folders ...

Thank you, deleting those fixed it. I'm going to leave the resize alone for now unless I get any more problems, because I don't trust myself to do it correctly.

Hi,

I'm going to leave the resize alone for now

The "resize" simply involves moving the slider to 50 mb.

Rebuilding the cache: (Win98)

Restart in Ms-Dos Mode
From C:\> (type and press Enter after each command)

cd\windows
smartdrv
deltree tempor~1
deltree history
deltree temp

Restart (Ctrl-Alt-Del)

I tried it, any it asked me if I wanted to delete the folders. I didn't. If I delete them, don't I have to make another one. Where will the files get put then? I didnt want to delete anything important, and wanted to double check.

Hi,
Those are all "temp" folders and will be recreated by themselves on restart.
