Please scan this program for:
9255775879.tmp
setup.exe
FQCTBIG.EXE

The first 2 are healed, but the third is still on my hard drive.
Before I got the last one, I got this message:

The following files or folders are cross-linked:

  • C:\_RESTORE\ARCHIVE\BKUPVXDLASTLOG.28

  • C:\_RESTORE\ARCHIVE\BKUPVXDLASTLOG.26

And the usual definition and options bellow it.
What does this mean?
I left C:\_RESTORE\ARCHIVE\BKUPVXDLASTLOG.28 and tuncated C:\_RESTORE\ARCHIVE\BKUPVXDLASTLOG.26.
Should I have not done that?

By the way, the CWShredder update function will not open Merijin.org.
Apparently he's been hijacked!

It will always be there till you clean System Restore...just turn off SR & turn it back on..it will be gone..you will also lose all restore points.

The CWShredder update function must be completed _manually_.

You cannot use the autoupdate due to the DDoS attack; Merijn.org is still under heavy fire. Therefore, it can't accept connections from CWShredder. According to what I've heard, we don't anticipate the DDoS being turned off any time soon.

And I'm not afraid to say it - this is a CWS-affiliate-initiated DDoS. They're doing this to prevent CWShredder from being autoupdated.

SWI mods, don't worry about this post; you're a common carrier, therefore you're immune to lawsuits over this post. You have no more responsibility about what I post than I do over the weather in Beijing.
Signature file is under revision. This will be back shortly.
