      IE 11 copy/paste problem

It has come to our attention that people using Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) are having trouble with copy/paste to the forum. If you encounter this problem, using a different browser like Firefox or Chrome seems to get around the problem. We do not know what the problem is, but it seems to be specific to IE 11 and we are hopeful that Microsoft will eventually fix it.

ok, I ran cw shredder and it found cws.smartsearch and cws.jksearch and it said the following file C:/windows/smcfg.exe could be part of cws. control3, which uses random files names. If the file displayed below has a ramdom string of characters, it should be deleted. If your'e not sure, write down the file name and ask someone for help.

that's what I'm doing . I have all critical updates, have run spybot and ad-aware, have spywareguard, spywareblaster, ie spayed and angis, avg virus, stinger. I don't know what else to do. I know that the file smcfg is a windows file and I did a search for that and that was all it said. I don't see anything on my hijack log, so I'm at a loss here.

Anyone have any ideas?

Also, something keeps changing my internet settings and first party and third party cookies and there is a process that keeps running SLlights and i don't know what it is .

Hi

there is a new update for cwshredder, if you go to the

software update & announcements section it will give you the link for this update. i read somewhere it resolved smcfg.exe issue, which you do not need to remove.

SLlights i think is a driver something to do with smartlink

You can bump your post anytime if you do not get a response. It could also be that no one saw anything in your log that needed fixing. Also forum does get a bit swamped with issues so some topics get overlooked.
