For some reason my email account (Yahoo! IE6) will not allow me to enter any text in the body of the email, nor can I reply to an email. I can directly address an email and list the subject matter and send it but with no contents. In addition I can't follow most links on web pages. I almost always need to type the address in directly. I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it, but yesterday morning I tried to reload Norton System Works after taking it off my system a few months back while I was trying other antivirus software. I expected the reload to take me to Nortons site to update my subscription, but it didn't and I couldn't follow any links. I tried everything (that I could think of). I ended up taking Norton back off using the install disk because for some reason when I click on add/remove programs nothing is listed. Very strange. Under My Computer nothing comes up under System info, print preview doesn't work either.

I was able to access my system details through programs/accessories/system tools and under problem devices it lists: ROOT\LEGACY_HPFECP13\0000 error code 28, whatever that all means.

I've run AdAware, spybot, AGV anti virus (now loaded) full scan with no problems. Below is a listing I got through HiJack This!. If anyone has any suggestions I am open to any ideas. Thanks ahead of time. Jon

For those who would like to know... The solution to the problem started with loading and running Mozilla. This allowed me to follow links and communicate through email (I like the program: Mozilla Firefox). Followed a link for updating IE 6 which cured the proplem with Add/Remove Programs. Still, I would like to know if anyone has an opinion about the HiJack This! scan.
