i found about 7 icons on my desktop a few days ago (some of the names are above). i ran adaware 6.0, spybot, spyguard, CWShredder, but my computer is still running slow and freezing. until today i couldn't get rid of the infamous_downloader icon from my desktop (it wouldn't delete). how do i get rid of this? here is my hijack this log:

I am just browsing here, but I saw your message unanswered. I have been doing my own cleanup of infamous_downloader. There is a solution, which I posted as a thread of several replies, at http://computercops....lite55607-.html .
