This adware is ticking me off. My browser is infected with prosearching.com.
I have installed and ran ADaware, Spybot, Norton Systemworks, and Hijack This.
Below is the results of the HJT scan.

Any help is appreciated.

thanks,
sperez62

Could you click Start>Settings>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs and uninstall 'Window Search', 'Window Searching', 'Lop.com', 'LOP SEARCH', 'Browser Enhancer', or 'Ultimate Browser Enhancer' if listed. You may be given a code to insert, do so and reboot when done.

If not listed there, click here, download and run this uninstaller. Reboot when done. Rescan with HJT and post a new log here so that any remnants can be removed manually.

As you directed, uninstalled "windows searching" and answered all prompts. No other intstalls were listed.

Ran Ad-aware, spybot, CWshredder, and HJT.

Here is the log.

(feeling better already! :D )

What next,

Just a little tidy up. With only HJT running have it fix:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = file:///C:/Documents%20and%20Settings/Scott%20%26%20Sandy/My%20Documents/My%20Webs/home_page_1.htm

Reboot and you should be good to go - how is it running now?
