      IE 11 copy/paste problem

It has come to our attention that people using Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) are having trouble with copy/paste to the forum. If you encounter this problem, using a different browser like Firefox or Chrome seems to get around the problem. We do not know what the problem is, but it seems to be specific to IE 11 and we are hopeful that Microsoft will eventually fix it.

Slowing Down!

3 posts in this topic

Thanks in advance for any advice. My computer’s reaction time after going on line has slowed about 75% of what its usual speed is.

I am probably going to ask questions that may have been asked before on this site as I am new to it and I need to preface my questions with a intellectual disclaimer of knowing very little about computer fixes, but here we go.

I have an old system: Windows 98, 6.4 GB Disk Drive, 64 MB Ram, and use Cox cable modem. I have run the following 2-3 times to clear everything up: McAfee V Shield, CW Shredder, Spybot, AdAware, and use Spygate Personal Firewall. During these processes, I found several problems and remedied those, but it hasn’t helped my speed much. I have about 60% free space left in memory and have defragged. The problem perhaps seemed to get worse after uninstalling old programs. I just downloaded System Mechanics 4 and ran it and found a few things and corrected them on my registry, but I still think that it is possibly something embedded that I can’t find.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This is the results of my hijackthis:
