      IE 11 copy/paste problem

It has come to our attention that people using Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) are having trouble with copy/paste to the forum. If you encounter this problem, using a different browser like Firefox or Chrome seems to get around the problem. We do not know what the problem is, but it seems to be specific to IE 11 and we are hopeful that Microsoft will eventually fix it.

You have the Peper trojan, which requires special treatment to put it out of your misery!

Please download and run this uninstaller.

Click on the peperfix link, and download the program. Then go off line, and run the program. It will remove the files, leaving one orphaned entry to be cleaned up with Hijack this.

Have Hijack This fix all of the following by placing a check in the appropriate boxes and hitting fix checked. Make sure all browser and all Windows Explorer windows are closed before fixing.

There is no sign in your log of any running anti virus program. To ensure that there are no other virus files on your drive, go to either Housecall or Panda A/V, and get an on line scan. Let it fix anything it finds. And install a resident anti virus program ASAP. AVG free edition from Grisoft is weel thought of my many regulars here.

Please post a followup Hijack this log, and say if your problems persist.
