i dont kno how to explain this, but here's some of the problems...

1. when i am typing or something it will all of a sudden have caps lock on (everything is typing in uppercase) and the caps lock light isn't even on. than when i push the caps lock button the light will turn on and everything would be in lowercase. it only happens every once in a while, but is very annoyingg!

2. when im looking through a webpage and i click something (it's not a link) on the page everything gets highlighted! and when i click somewhere else to un-highlight it, it will highlight more and keeps doing it for a while than suddenly stops.

3. and all these folders keep gettin added to my favorites. everytime i delete it, it comes right back.. i looked at all the links and it all has "windowsenhancer.com" in the URL..

help..

I've seen mysterious things on this order, like four of each icon suddenly appear, and other weird desktop things. I'm pretty sure you are ready for a new keyboard. Borrow one from a friend and give it a try. Bios can turn those lights and options on, but I can't think of anythin else it might be.
However there is that clever Trojan that loves to scramble your icons... as you start to select they reshuffle. :scratchhead:

You have Peper Trojan
Download the uninstaller----Double click to run----You must be online while running
this fix---Click the find and fix---reboot when prompted
http://downloads.sub...rg/PeperFix.exe

Run this fix twice---restarting your computer each time

Next would you download Ad-Aware --- there is a free version

Install it------CHECK FOR UPDATES
Set these options for a Custom Scan
click the gear wheel at the top and check these options:

General> activate these: "Automatically save log-file" and "Automatically quarantine objects prior to removal"

Scanning > activate these: "Scan within archives", "Scan active processes", "Scan registry", "Deep scan registry", "Scan my IE Favorites for banned sites" and "Scan my Hosts file"

Tweaks > Scanning Engine> activate this: "Unload recognized processes during scanning."

Tweaks > Cleaning Engine: activate these: "Automatically try to unregister objects prior to deletion" and "Let Windows remove files in use after reboot."

Click "Proceed" to save your settings, then click "Start", make sure "Activate in-depth scan" is ticked green then scan your system. When the scan is finished, the screen will tell you if anything has been found, click "Next". The bad files will be listed, right click the pane and click "Select all objects" - this will put a check mark in the box at the side, click "Next" again and click "OK" at the prompt "# objects will be removed. Continue?".

RESTART your computer
Next download Spybot S&D 1.3
Install it-----SEARCH FOR UPDATES----download and let it install all updates

Check for problems-----Fix Everything in RED---Green is optional

Post back with a Fresh Hijackthis log

You can have hijackthis fix these 2 also
in case you missed them----1 I missed
RESTART after

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName =
R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {707E6F76-9FFB-4920-A976-EA101271BC25} - (no file)

You should be clean after that

Never hurts to do an online virus scan at housecall's
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

P.S. To get into safe mode that link I supplied earlier gives simple instructions :D

In case those files or folders had hidden attributes enable hidden files and folders
Instructions in previous post......
They may not exist anymore...
