Could you click here to download CWShredder by Merijn Bellekom and run it, hit 'fix' as opposed to 'scan only'. Make sure you are running version 1.59. Reboot when done.

Rescan with HJT and post a new log here so that any remnants can be removed manually.

Make sure that you have no browser windows open as this could prevent the fix from working properly. Open HijackThis, scan and when complete, remove the following entries by checking the box to the left and clicking 'fixed checked':

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = about:blank
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {A9A674BF-771F-42E5-A440-D20DDA85A862} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\i3k7g66ozcwl.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [System Service] C:\WINDOWS\System32\msrexe.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MyWebSearch Email Plugin] C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\1.bin\mwsoemon.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MyWebSearch Email Plugin] C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\1.bin\mwsoemon.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [uninstal] regsvr32 /u /s image.dll
O4 - Startup: MyWebSearch Email Plugin.lnk = C:\Program Files\MyWebSearch\bar\1.bin\MWSOEMON.EXE
O4 - Global Startup: MyWebSearch Email Plugin.lnk = C:\Program Files\MyWebSearch\bar\1.bin\MWSOEMON.EXE
O15 - Trusted Zone: *.greg-search.com

Reboot when done, find and delete the following:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\msrexe.exe
C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\1.bin\mwsoemon.exe

Rescan with HJT and post a new log here for a final check over.

I went through and deleted the entries you highlighted but when I rebooted and tried to delete

C:\WINDOWS\System32\msrexe.exe
C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\1.bin\mwsoemon.exe

I was told that access was denied and to make sure that they were not full, write protected or in use. I opened up the porperties of each but did not know what to alter.

What should I do?

Almost, with only HJT running, have it fix:

O4 - Global Startup: MyWebSearch Email Plugin.lnk = C:\Program Files\MyWebSearch\bar\1.bin\MWSOEMON.EXE
O4 - Global Startup: winlogin.exe

Rerun CWShredder v1.59, post a final HJT log.

I'm having trouble deleting:

O4 - Global Startup: winlogin.exe

HJT tells me it's in use but the only similar thing I can find in Task Manager is winlogon.exe

I tried safe mode but HJT still wouldn't let me delete it.

Suggestions?

Try running CWShredder v1.59 first - that will probably remove it.
