Has anyone encountered a folder called Dog Dash Burn. It appears as a foleder in your program files and contains a file nurbmp3settings.exe. It appears to be a browser hjiacker. And if you try to delete the folder, it either egenerates itself or causes Windows Exploere to crash.

help!!

Hi speedymjb

download hijack this from here
make sure you extract HJT into its own folder and then run the program.

DO NOT fix anything yet. A lot of what you will see there are legitimate programs. Just press the "Scan" button, it will then change to "Save Log". When the file is saved, it will open in Notepad. Copy and paste its entire contents, including the header here.

It can take some time to check out a log so be patient!! :)

Fixed it. When i ran hijack this, I easily found the 2 files that were causing the problem. One was named Dog DAsh Burn and one names nurbmp3settings.exe.

used hijack this to fix them both and all my problems have vanished! Thanks!!
