While watching the cable newschannel MSNBC a few weeks ago, and after having just purchased the software "Spysweeper" but not yet installing it, they had a newsreport about anti-spyware. They stated that there is Spyware in some anti-spyware software! Has anyone ever heard of this before? I e-mailed the question to the people at Spysweeper, and have not received a reply.
MSNBC is in partners with Microsoft, so I assume they know what they are talking about, and hopefully wouldn't put on a news segment without backup information proving it to be true!

Spyware in Anit-spyware software?

I use spysweeper. Ive trusted it for a long time. Its not on the blacklist that the spywarewarrior made and Webroot has a very good rep.
