Every time I either open a third browser window or close one, I get a pop-up ad. I can't figure out how to get rid of them. I've run Adware and Spybot and neither of them have been able to remove it.

Please help!

Have Hijack This fix all of the following by placing a check in the appropriate boxes and hitting fix checked. Make sure all browser and all Windows Explorer windows are closed before fixing.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MGST_TRI] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MGST_TRI.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [CROBJS] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\CROBJS.exe

Reboot, and delete

files
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\MGST_TRI.exe
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\CROBJS.exe

These may be hidden files. See HERE for how to show hidden files.

Please post a followup Hijack this log for this user, and say if your problems persist.

Thank you so much for your help! The problem has finally gone away. I did notice, though, that the second file you told me to delete kept changing it's name after every scan that I ran using using HiJack This, but I did delete it, and everything is running smoothly now!

Here is the new log file:

Nice clean log. Well done. Those mutating files can be a real pain to find/remove!

Glad to help!
