Greeting Gurus,

I have popups I haven't been able to stop. My system is FUBAR..... Needless to say there is a rats nest of crap that I have not been able to remedy. However this will be quite the learning experience. Once this is all done I would like to learn more so that I may possibly become a helper trainee. I have even gone so far as to copy and past every URL that pops up into my privacy deny lists. Now I have a lot of blank and background popups so the problem has yet to be remedied. I have even viewed the source in search of a clue as to how these buggers act to no avail. I have ran the pertinent programs to try to clean things up however itmes that were supposed to be removed didn't disapear.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Noton (military issue) doesn't work

Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D, Spyblaster, and xcleaner have been implemented.

Dave38,

Thanx a ton. It worked great. All fixed. I sure apreciate it. Even your reply was a boon. You know I have had that problem for almost a year now. It just goes to show that one can't know everything. Coputer work is like being a Dr.; Everything is a specialty. I wish I could return the favor.
