Ive tried Adaware, Spybot S&d, CWShredder, and have AVG antivirus. All of them detect and say they remove. But They don't, it just comes back. I dont even need to restart my computor, it comes back even if i close my eplorer and open it again. I tried running all my spywares at the same time. I added all the variants manually to the restricted websights in security, only to find it deleted itself from it. Im not 100% sure but adaware finds something called homeoldsp and registry errors and cwshredder finds CWS.Searchx, it found a few more but i cant remember the names. My AVG found a trogen downloader once.....said it healed it ......but now it wont find anything and neither will spybot. The virus was in system volume information. I forgot to write the name down ACK. The websight it keeps setting my homepage is "About:blank" I'm not 100% positive but i think i got it from a tripod sight. Im not that good with computors......all this talk about registry values and dll's makes me look like a deer in headlights. So treat me like an 80 year old - because 5 year olds know more about computors. Sorry about the punctuation. I'll post my hijak log file in the next post to keep it seperate.

another shameless bump. And found these in my antivirus logs if theyhelp

trojan horse backdoor.agent.ba comg.dll

trojan horse backdoor.agent.wintrim.2.J

trojan horse startpage.4.ap

Windows system32/wmscrop.exe

comg.dll in System Volume info/restore { IEF6SD33-0EB4-4F33-B265-7003EID75265} RP1041A0015540.dll

it also killed Zonealarm while i ran CWShredder and killed the shredder whil i was running it

ANd it prevented me from getting to this sight Im only on these forums because i imediatly went here after updated adaware removed it (for the 100th time) My msn messanger hotmail address is littered with hundreds of popups my popup blocker has killed 40 popups during this session but it cant kill the popups on my messanger. Interestingly the popups are linking to bogus spyware removal sights. Man the writer of this code is a genius ill give him/her that much. But they are the apitomy af all evil......the devils got nothing on the writer of this code
