Hi,
First thing to do ...

Reconfigure Windows 98 to show hidden files:
Double-click the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop.
Click the View menu, and then click Options or Folder Options.
Click the View tab.

In the Advanced settings box, under the "Hidden files" folder
Uncheck: "Hide file extensions for known file types"
Select: "Show all files" Ok the prompt
Click Apply, and then click OK. Close Windows Explorer.

Next:

Close all open windows, except for HijackThis place a check in each of the following:
Then click "Fix checked".

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {0000607D-D204-42C7-8E46-216055BF9918} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {9C691A33-7DDA-4C2F-BE4C-C176083F35CF} - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\BRIDGE.DLL
O2 - BHO: ohb - {18B79968-1A76-4953-9EBB-B651407F8998} - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\WINDEC32.DLL
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {1C4DA27D-4D52-4465-A089-98E01BB725CA} - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\INETDCTR.DLL
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [jpmfaanaqdbw] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\UKTCRVV.EXE
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [intdctrr] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\idctup20.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [systray] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\A.EXE
O4 - Startup: GStartup.lnk = C:\Program Files\Common Files\GMT\GMT.exe
O16 - DPF: {E2F2B9D0-96B9-4B25-B90C-636ECB207D18} - http://www.whenusear.../WUInstSECS.cab

Then reboot, on restart, restart in Safe Mode (see "How To" below)

Open Windows Explorer to C:\Windows\Temp
Delete the entire contents of that folder.

Open Windows Explorer locate and delete the following:

C:\PROGRAM FILES\COMMON FILES\GMT <--this folder
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\BRIDGE.DLL <--this file
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\WINDEC32.DLL <--this file
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\INETDCTR.DLL <--this file
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\UKTCRVV.EXE <--this file
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\idctup20.exe <--this file
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\A.EXE <--this file

Restart normally and then ...

Download: SpyBot-Search & Destroy 1.3
http://majorgeeks.co...wnload2471.html

Open SpyBot, click "Search for Updates"
Then run a scan, "fix" everything marked in red and reboot.

After the above, reboot, rescan with HijackThis and post a fresh log ...

Hi,
Your log looks clean now ... good job!

I would suggest adding some "Defense" to your system ...
See section: How To: Prevent this from happening again?
