I am concerned that someone may be watching my computer, with a keylogger or hijack program, as my machine runs slow on occasions, the hard drive runs up when there are no programs running and my desktop flickers and all the icons go to blank boxes temporarily.

I have run Adaware; Spybot and Norton AV, but nothing showed up

I would be grateful if someone could look at my HJT log copied below.

Hope this is OK as I am a silver surfer and a forum-virgin!

Well, then perhaps you should read the "read before you post" message? I am also new. The message explains why you might have a lot of views and no replies and that bumping puts you at top of list and help is given from the bottom up. Bumping also gives you more replies which would indicate a need for less attention. I realy just trying to help....

i dont see any known keyloggers off the bat, but if you want to be sure, then get rid of all your BHO items like Yahoo and everything, clean up your system before you start deleting important items....

dont run a million programs like WINAMP and others and then post the logfile, its more junk for us to filter...close ALL normal programs (do not close background processes you have not started yourself) and then run hijackthis

unless u know what these are, u can try to fix them with hijackthis, but create backups (always!)...

u can leave the logitech stuff, should be your keyboard/mouse

i dont know what this is, check in your installed programs list, there's a lot so i wont recommend deleting it unless u know what it is...

:D Many thanks for the responses and advice from mjp65aa and syrel.

I have deleted the items suggested by syrel, without any problems and I have shut down the autorun on startup of the Winamp and others.

The 24 O16 DPF components from tecoonline.co.uk have been deleted, but whenever you log back into Tesco Personal Finance for Online Banking services, these deleted components are uploaded again, therefore I have left them in this time, as it reduces the access time to tescoonline.co.uk. These components have no impact on the speed or functionality of the machine.

The machine seems to be running OK, with no major problems, I have run Adaware and SpyBlaster S & D, and restarted the machine after both scans.

I have copied the latest hijackthis log in the event that there is anything else lurking or should be deleted.

Thank you for the assist
