      IE 11 copy/paste problem

It has come to our attention that people using Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) are having trouble with copy/paste to the forum. If you encounter this problem, using a different browser like Firefox or Chrome seems to get around the problem. We do not know what the problem is, but it seems to be specific to IE 11 and we are hopeful that Microsoft will eventually fix it.

About:Blank Virus - Help - 06/20/04

Read FAQ, Ran Spybot, Norton AV and Firewall were current :gasp:

Here is what happen to me today (06/20/04)...

Was at a site, it tried to download dialer(I said no), NAV popped up found some trojan(fixed so it said) and then all hell broke loose...Had cookies turned off and NAV was all current...

This Virus really messed with my NAV..Turned auto feature off and email scannng off, messed up live update(had to re-installed). Seems to be ok now??.

Another weird symptom is when I try to bring up notepad, the calculator comes up? Basically unable to open notepad although I did get the Hijack Log saved in wordpad.

And finally, I ran my spybot ver 1.2 and it found nothing...So, I uninstalled it using its own UI feature(although it does not UI everything)...I then downloaded ver 1.3 and ran and it found one file that I said to fix, but it keeps coming back everytime I exit, re-start IE...

Here is my Hijack Log: (thank you for any help)

Logfile of HijackThis v1.97.7

In looking at another post by jfer, it appears we both have the same problem and both have XP...

I followed part of the suggestions offered by Dameon i.e. download and run register lite.

You suggested that "ifer" look for the value fo this string:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows\\AppInit_DLLs

The value field had zip- nada??? I decided to stop here until someone has a chance to review my log and this data...

Anyone??? :bounce:
