Hi,
I believe I've done all that was recommended in the FAQs and the hijacking advice page. I've run an updated Adbot S&D and I ran HijackThis (log below). There are no .hta, or .js files on my box, and I deleted all the .tmp files. I'm able to change my homepage back to Google, but on reboot, it gets hijacked again...what do ya think? Oh, yeah...when I ran HijackThis the first time, I selected to fix all the HKCU and HKLM entries at the top of the log; but they just came back again.
THANKS!

You have a CWS infection. Could you click here to download CWShredder by Merijn Bellekom and run it, hit 'fix' as opposed to 'scan only'. Reboot when done.

CWS installs via the byte verifier exploit in MS JavaVM - just surfing a page with an infected applet can install it with no user participation. So once you’ve run CWShredder, it is vitally important that you go here, click Scan for updates in the main frame, and download and install all CRITICAL updates recommended.

Then create a new folder called C:\HijackThis, extract the HijackThis.exe file from the zip file into the new folder and run it from there. This is necessary to ensure you have backups should anything go wrong. Rescan with HJT and post a new log here so that any remnants can be removed manually.

Make sure that you have no browser windows open as this could prevent the fix from working properly. Open HijackThis, scan and when complete, remove the following entries by checking the box to the left and clicking 'fixed checked':

O1 - Hosts: 66.250.57.9 view.atdmt.com
O1 - Hosts: 66.250.57.9 click.atdmt.com
O1 - Hosts: 66.250.57.9 leader.linkexchange.com
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Windows report] C:\WINNT\swchost.exe

Click here, for instructions on how to enable hidden files and folders to be visible. After enabling, reboot into safe mode by tapping F8 after the BIOS has loaded, find and delete the following:

C:\WINNT\swchost.exe - Careful, not svchost.exe

Reboot when done, rescan with HJT and post a new log here for a final check over.

Well, thanks again. the problem seems to have been cleared up altogether. The file "C:\WINNT\swchost.exe" doesn't reside on either of my drives, so that wasn't an issue. Here is the latest log...cheers!
