My CPU goes 100% in first Teatimer.exe to Spybot S&D . Later on to Explorer and MSN and all kinds off things but not before it have gone a will since i started the computer.

Is the process svchost.exe (Local Service) responsible for this memory overload? This can be checked using Task Manager and selecting Processes.

I have noted this class of entry in three other cases of high memory usage posted on these boards, including my own. I can't confirm this is the source of the problem but I would like to know what this process entails.

Not yet. I have just deleted mine using HijackThis but it doesnt seem to have made a difference to the svchost.exe build-up which begins as soon as my computer is turned on.

BTW, what is teatimer.exe?
