      IE 11 copy/paste problem

It has come to our attention that people using Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) are having trouble with copy/paste to the forum. If you encounter this problem, using a different browser like Firefox or Chrome seems to get around the problem. We do not know what the problem is, but it seems to be specific to IE 11 and we are hopeful that Microsoft will eventually fix it.

Weird Behavior, No Noticeable Hacks

2 posts in this topic

Hey everyone. I recently have been having problems with my computer. I first noticed a file called iosdt.exe hogging my system resources, I did a registry search for anything related to that name and removed it all. I also noticed a file fvprotect occassionally taking away resources. I looked up how to remove that and it is no gone.

Here is how my computer is behaving... Basically I turn on the machine and I have MSN Messenger and AIM start up when Windows starts up... HOwever they are no not starting up promptly and MSN once I log on, crashes and closes. Aim sometimes does this same thing and sometimes doesnt. Also IE does not start up for about a minute or two after clicking on IE..... And occassionally it crashes as well.. I have AdAware and Spybot and they haven't found anything to fix (i always update before scanning), and I've also recently installed and used HiJackThis! I don't have a current AV program any more (haven't got a new subscription yet). Here is the Log File from HiJack This! let me know if anything jumps out.

I'm no expert, but maybe you deleted stuff from the registry you shouldn't have. Especially as you didn't know what that program was that you got rid of. Did you back the registry up beforehand?
