In the last 4 days I've had problems with my xp windows. In the startup always appears a message that says: "ERROR LOADING C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\BRIDGE.dll THE SPECIFIED MODULE COULD NOT BE FOUND"

I tried to do a lot. I defragmented disk, use my antivirus, and nothing. Finally I looked for web assistant and I downloaded a program named "hijackthis" and now I need someone to tell me what to do. The following information is what was caught by the program. Please someone tell me what to clean from here.

Have Hijack This fix all of the following by placing a check in the appropriate boxes and hitting fix checked. Make sure all browser and all Windows Explorer windows are closed before fixing.

Hi Dave, I really want to thank you cause the problem finally desappeared. I just did what u tell me to do and then I restarted my computer and everything was fine. One of the files you told me to delete was abridge.dll, but this was eliminated before I post in first time. Some of the others were there and I proceeded. So once more, thank you.

Do you have to go in safe mode to delete the files from the windows/systems folder?

Thanks,
Bill
